RED-X is an upgrade for FDM 3D printers (1.75 mm filament)! Made in Germany!<\/p>\n

RED-X uses a synthetic ruby with a hardness of 9.0 Mohs. This hardness provides extremely high wear resistance. It ensures that virtually all printing materials can be processed over a long period of time without any loss of quality.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

RED-X withstands all common materials up to a printing temperature of 450 \u00b0C. Even highly abrasive materials such as nylon, carbon fiber and even boron nitride (cBN) cannot harm RED-X.<\/p>\n

ATTENTION!!!: Always use protective gloves when mounting\/removing the nozzle to prevent burns.<\/p>\n

Required tools: torque wrench with 7 mm hex socket, 16 mm wrench or adjustable wrench to hold the hotend in place, protective gloves<\/p>\n

Remove the old nozzle from your printer. To do this, heat the printer to at least 240\u00b0C and loosen the nozzle with a suitable tool. Use the size 16 wrench to counter-hold on the heat block. Let the hotend cool down again and remove the nozzle completely. Screw in RED-X by hand and heat the hotend again. Once the temperature is reached, set a torque wrench to 1 -1.5 Nm and tighten RED-X with it.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/p>\n

  1. Do not drop the nozzle and avoid pressure and impact on the nozzle!<\/li>\n
  2. The working temperature of the nozzle must not exceed 550\u00b0C.<\/li>\n
  3. Avoid contamination of the nozzle caused by excessive temperatures or by oversized high-temperature-resistant particles in special filaments.<\/li>\n
  4. Make sure the filament has reached its glass transition temperature in the hotend before starting the extrusion process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
